I have imposed long enough 

you’ve made it plain without saying • you don’t want to hear my voice • I’ve been given no choice • no visits or phone calls • no writing on the walls • do you believe in closure • you sent me onward soldier 

if I didn’t bring this up now • would you ever have said how • things weren’t going to be • did you intend to ever tell me • you came to a decision • to subtract ... with division • afraid of what’s not here • bored of all who aren’t peer • I’m not in your social class • yesterdays now distant past
