Swim. Or Die.

pushed thru the window by a love once unopposed … denied re-entry and exit lest be seen and exposed

until at last told to leave thru the door only now shown … still I would wait for the one who cast me deep into the alone

the alone

not to give up … resist the rhythm of emptiness served only by the cup … plan not for the wedding but the marriage ensued ….

what happens to the love will be lost on the untrue … always it is known when batting out of one’s league … blind faith in love leads to battle fatigue

when it’s all she wants love is never all that she needs …

to someone my age who knows better … stick to hallmark moments not to poems or letters

say nothing that upsets her … for the score she keeps today will burn every thing away
