rarely are monsters and villains the same • one cheats it’s own rules and from her mutant game • crawls a Monster portrayed by fear • pictured to entice whom she will not let near

the Monster banished respects still her boundary • never raised a hand against his one and only

rarely do villains and monsters agree • blamed in violation of unilateral decree • the Monster’s been told where he should be seen • only a mutation created by dreams of the Queen

guilty of that for years still concealed • well disguised content for those known revealed 

for each villain a monster a match made in earth • a rescue well-meaning of respect and a little mirth • doomed to live abandoned with memory no more • drowned by carrying you to your shore

your Monster is your villain your Frankenstein slave • not even worthy of a shallow grave • what I did for love forever will die • now that you’re happy you won’t even say goodbye
