for those who cannot dream, there’s nothing wrong with being awake
there are those who will not budge, they’re above being able to judge …there are some among us who cannot abide yet still capable to take a side … there are those who cannot bring themselves to hate … theirs will never be a lonely fate … do not try to steer them wrong … every poem they read is already a song
for them do not lament nor grieve … simply sit beside them and see how to believe … they already know who is right and what is good … simply marvel at the wonder of what is as all things should
everyone’s been given an innocent life … unencumbered by jealousy, incapable of instilling strife …
she will say only what she knows … in her presence every worthy being only grows … she will bring you back into the fold, for in her eyes no one ever gets too old … don’t even try to tell her or explain … for only sorrow begets pain
insincerity falls in between only what is wrong and who is lonely
the comfort in her words is as unbridled as uncaged birds … if by her one fails to experience meaningful flight, soon the blindness will yield to insight… the restoration of vision once lost … shocking at how little such a cure would cost
no baptist poet or king … can rob her of all she can bring
what she has one needs to make a new start
there’s nothing wrong with being given back a brand new heart
.
all the boys step back when she walks by …
